All are sinner's before God

In Chapter 3, Paul says in verse nine that all are under sin. Verse ten says there are none righteous, no not one. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. If we compare one to another, than we might be able to say, "Well your better than me or maybe I am better than you." But in comparison to a Holy God, we all fall miserably short. We have all turned aside to go our own way. We have sought our own way in life. The way of destruction.
Paul also states that by the deeds of the law no one will be justified in God's sight. So not only does man fall short of God and His glory, but we can't ever do enough good works or try to live the law to be made right before God. We just don't have that sort of capability.
The good news is that God had provided a way for us to be justified. To be justified is to be declared righteous. We are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we have been given a free gift of being justified before God. Jesus died so that He can both take our punishment for our sin and forgive us. That is the blessed hope we have in Christ. We do fall short. We don't keep the law. But there is One who has died for us and is willing to set us free from the sin and guilt.
