Month 6

I'm a little late on this post. September by far was the most challenging month so far. We have had some financial issues due to us trying to catch up on medical bills from my last hospital stay. Brandi had to apply for a part time job. God has been faithful and provided for us in many ways. We continue to see Gods hand leading and guiding in ways beyond what I could ever figure out. The boys are enjoying soccer and the girls have been making friends and enjoying there time here. We miss all of you. Please continue to pray for us as we continue to think about and pray for you. Keep looking to Jesus the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Month 5 complete

Wow. Another month just flew by. The kids started school and they are adjusting to the new surroundings. They seem to like it and are making new friends. The boys are playing soccer. Trenton is playing goalie and Jig is playing right midfield. They both won there first game. Madels is doing a special class called biotech. She loves it. Both younger girls are doing well and getting so big. Bran and I are enjoying this season in life taking a break from full time church ministry. We are just waiting on The Lord for what He wants us to do next. We miss our California family, friends, and church very much. We loves all of you and pray God reveals more of Himself to you.

Fourth month in Missouri

Another month has quickly passed by. The kids have been enjoying summer vaca. My health continues to get better. I'm hoping and praying that my insurance decides to pay for my monthly Meds. We had to appeal a decision that they made to not pay for my meds. It's in the Lords hand. We are still making friends in our new church home. The Lord allowed me to cover again for Pastor Tom as he was away with his wife in California.

This has been a very challenging month. I know that God moved us out of the Central Valley for my health. But I have had doubts about what God is doing in bringing us out here so far from the Valley, from family, friends, Refuge, everything we know. But I am seeking Him in prayer trying to rest in His sovereign plans. I know God knows what He is doing and I want to be at peace with that. I want to know Him more than I want to know why He does what He does. I miss all of you and hope you are looking to Jesus. Take care.

Third Month in Missouri

I am a little late getting to this entry but here it is. Thanks again for your prayers for my family. We finally found a house to rent that is finished and is liveable. We had a rough few months but it's finally starting to feel like we are settling in here in Springfield. The kids are enjoying summer vacation and Brandi is glad to be in the new house. I went to the doctor this month and established care. She said my lungs sound good. Praise Jesus! We continue to walk as a family during evenings. I'm trying to get back into shape now that I am getting my health back. We are starting to settle in at our new church. Pastor Tom and his wife went out of town so he asked me to fill in for him on a Wednesday night bible study. It was fun to teach the bible again and minister to the body of Christ. Here is the link to the teaching. http://calvarychapelspringfield.sermon.net/main/main/20110009. Please keep us in prayer. We miss our Cali family but we know God is Sovereignly orchestrating our lives and we desire to yield and follow Him wherever He takes us. Love you guys!

Second month in Missouri

Hey everyone. We are only days away from the completion of our second month here in Missouri. I want to thank you for your prayers as my family and I try our best to transition and settle in to our new home town. It hasn't been easy with multiple trials with sickness and my tooth abscess. But we are fighting through it and pressing in closer to Jesus. I do have good news about my respiratory issues. I am about 80 percent better. I am also doing a lot of walking to get back into better physical shape. Thank you Lord. The kids will be finishing school this week and are excited for the summer vaca. We continue to fellowship at Calvary Springfield. Pastor Tom Humphrey and his family have been a blessing by making us feel welcome. It has been difficult to leave behind our home church Refuge Sanger and all the wonderful people that we grew close to over the time we were there. But God is continuing to lead us and open up doors for us to meet new people who love Him and desire to serve Him. I still love working at Numotion and look for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with people at work and in our community. Keep praying for us as we are still thinking about and praying for y'all. Yes I said y'all.
